HORNINGFORD

PT 174

Between Anderson and McVeytown, the mainline separates from RT 103. Following along River Rd will bring you to the tiny village (if it can even be called that) of Horningford. At the Juniata Drive crossing, the PT 176 PRR PL mast signals stand and are the highlight of the area. The rolling farmlands also present beautiful vistas to the creative photographer.

1) Eastbound 506 splits the PT 174 signals.
2) Westbound 501 passes in the afternoon. (Photo by Dan Hauck)

1) Westbound 21T passes through the farms at Horningford. (Photo by Dan Hauck)
2) Westbound 21M passes the farm later in the autumn season. Note the PT 174 signals can be seen.
