Sunday February 24, 2008
A busy, late Saturday night turned into a Sunday morning with a long list of eastbounds at CP-Prescott. Amongst the morning fleet was 214, 20K, 24V, 212, 64J, 10A, W6Q, and 262. Unfortunately the sun was only up for the last three, yielding the photos below. Witness witness an extra section of Roanoke-Allentown manifest freight 36Q, W6Q, rolling under the westbound signals at CP-Prescott. A little less than two hours later roadrailer 262 runs opposite main the interlocking.

It was a little over an hour until 34A started off a rush of six trains in a little over an hour. H48 was the second of the six. The local came through running long hood forward, crossing from tracks two to one in the interlocking. He would return east with two cars a little while later. 21M and 36Q rolled through within half an hour and 11J followed them with a change of pace from the sea of widecabs in the form of an SD70.

After the 11J, another local, H33, finished up the parade. It was over a two hour wait until our next train, 19G, arrived. It's unfortunate that his leader was repainted back in 2005 as it would have made a beautiful sight two watch two blue C40-8Ws lead this train in good light. After he passed we decided to make our way east back towards school in the hopes of catching a W4A we had a tip about. We heard him coming through Wyomissing so we pulled into the crossing at Richland and grabbed this final shot of the day.
