Courtesy of two wonderful teachers who decided to cancel class on the same day, I had the day off from school. I decided to get up nice and early in hopes of catching the morning parade. NS 214 had just gone through as I was waking up (5:30am) and the Lehigh Line Dispatcher was talking to 24V about his set out. I hurried to get into position and found 24V cutting away from his drop off. While I was walking NS 212 was getting a Form-D to operate on number one track between CP-Bethlehem and CP-Richards around 24V. He came east, 24V tied back on to his train and west east, and 18G, pictured below, followed both of them east. All three trains met NS 509 at CP-Richards and 19G and 23M at CP-Easton. Behind 23M by about 40 minutes was NS 11J with zero loads by zero empties. Witness 11J running as lite power roll to a stop signal at CP-Bethlehem by what used to be the Bethlehem Steel mill. |
