With summer vacation rapidly approaching and the weather forecast for the remainder of the semester looking bleak, I decided to take advantage of the last nice day of my freshmen year of college and go watch trains. The first shootable train of the morning was NS 24V with ingots head out. NS 211 would hold at CP-Bethlehem for 24V to clear the single track. |

While 24V was pulling in, NS 38T (CP 258) was ready to take his cars for LVRB to the River Yard. He would wait for 211, who was running a bit late, to get out of town before crossing the Lehigh River. |

NS 38T would make his setoff and bring his lite engines back for the Freemansburg Industrial Track. By this time 18G had been recrewed and was ready to leave town with a meager 30 odd cars. It was about an hour until 19G showed up with five units and quite a large train for Allentown. |

The last train of the morning for me would be NS 21M. He had a sweet SD70 leader and an even better Conrail Quality C40-8W third out. The prize in the train was this Vermont Railway 35 years of intermodal service trailer. |
